Sydney: Serbian Statehood Day Instead of Festival

For the first time since holding of the Serbian Festival in Sydney began in 2013, this most popular and most visited event of the Serbian community on the Fifth Continent will not be held. What has been suspected for some time and rumoured about within the Serbian community, was confirmed by members of the New South Wales branch of SOYA (Serbian Orthodox Youth of Australia) by a post on the Festival’s social media pages.

Day of the Cross and Epiphany will be Marked Also in Florida

The Day of the Cross and the Epiphany are also prayerfully celebrated in Florida, in North Port. The Serbs there, gathered around the Church and School Municipality of St. Sava, are diligent in preserving tradition and culture. Serbia Eliminated PCR Test Requirement for Residents of Countries of the Region

The Border Police was notified by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia about new instructions for persons entering Serbia from countries affected by the coronavirus epidemic, which will enter into force on 14 January 2021. The citizens of BiH, Albania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Montenegro are allowed to enter Serbia without a PCR test, the BiH Border Police announced.
