This year’s show, which featured dances and songs from various regions currently or previously inhabited by Serbs, was held on 15 October 2022, in the hall of the Nova Gorica Arts Center.

The program started with a performance by the Sloga SCA Nova Gorica singing group.

Gordana Trivunović addressed the present members and friends of the association, and especially the guests, with the following words: ‘Dear members and friends of the association, dear fans of folklore art, distinguished guests, welcome to the 19th edition of Playful Hearts organized by Sloga Serbian cultural association Nova Gorica. It is with great pleasure that I greet the Mayor of the Nova Gorica City Municipality, Dr. Klemen Miklavič, the Deputy Mayor of Nova Gorica, Mr. Saša Kogovšek. Greetings to the City Council member Mr. Marko Tribušon. Greetings to the bishop of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Nova Gorica, Miroslav Ćirković. Financial support for holding of this evening’s event was provided by the Republic of Slovenia Public Fund for Cultural Activities, the Republic of Slovenia Public Fund for Cultural Activities - Nova Gorica regional office, Šempeter-Vrtojba municipality, entrepreneur Stojan Marković, and Nova Gorica Alliance of Cultural Associations. On behalf of the Sloga Serbian cultural association and everyone present, I sincerely thank you.’

Members of the Sloga SCA children’s ensemble performed Dances from Šumadija, followed by the Novo Mesto SCA from Novo Mesto presenting Serbian dances and songs from White Carniola.

Special guests of this year’s Playful Hearts were members of the Pletenica cultural and artistic society from Bijeljina who performed Dances from Semberija.

Veteran folk dance group of the Kranj cultural association Brdo performed Dances from Kosovo.

The program ended with members of the Sloga SCA Nova Gorica dancing ensemble performing Dances from Kumanovo.
