On 13 September 2022, a delegation of the Republic of Srpska met with the mayor Dragana Sotirovski and her colleagues in the City Hall on the occasion of the tenth Days of Srpska in Serbia.
‘The meeting with the guests from the Republic of Srpska was an opportunity to exchange experiences, to hear their proposals, projects and examples of practice, and special emphasis was placed on economic cooperation, cooperation in the field of tourism, and in the field of youth. During the Days of Srpska in Niš, we will have the opportunity to learn about their culture and exchange experiences in that area as well’, said Vladislava Ivković, Assistant Mayor.
On behalf of the Republic of Srpska delegation, Nemanja Kovačević, Assistant Minister for International Cooperation in the Republic of Srpska, extended thanks for the welcome and emphasized that this year’s tenth anniversary Srpska Days in Niš coincided with the jubilee, more specifically 30 years since the founding of the Republic of Srpska.
‘I am honored that the citizens of Niš will have the opportunity to learn about the culture of the Republic of Srpska, and we in the Republic of Srpska know everything about Serbia. Sometimes it may be necessary to show what the Republic of Srpska has – I think we will show ourselves in a special light’, says Kovačević.
Prijedor Theater performed the play Covid Love at the Niš National Theater, which was well received by the audience.
