Learning Cyrillic, the first supplementary school of the Serbian language in Benkovac, Croatia, which was financially supported by the Directorate for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region, is now open in the church hall and attended by 21 students. The teachers at the school are priests’ wives Jelena Božić and Momira Savić.

Within a competition for co-financing projects in the region, the Directorate for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region approved the funding, which was used to provide a smart board for projection and writing, books for the library with a reading room, and other didactic material.
