The 10th Prosvjeta Serbian New Year’s concert was held in Vienna and announced that holding of this event aimed to be a bridge between cultures, but also an important promotion of the Serbian community in Austria. Prosvjeta’s Mala Pričaonica (little speaking room) for the youngest will open in Graz, Austria, on Sunday, 15 January 2023. The program is intended for children aged 4 to 7. In a creative way, by learning Serbian fairy tales, poems and stories, the children enter the world of (Cyrillic) letters and thus acquire a good foundation and prepare for Prosvjeta’s Serbian language school.
On 8 January, Yugorsk MBOU secondary school number 5 and Republic of Srpska Chess Association held the XVII Paths of Friendship Children’s International Online Christmas Chess Tournament. Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education and Rossotrudnichestvo announce a competition for the admission of citizens of the Republic of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Montenegro, the Republic of North Macedonia, the Republic of Slovenia, the Republic of Croatia and compatriots with permanent residence in the territory of the above countries, to studies in the 2023/2024 academic year at higher education institutions in the Russian Federation at the expense of the federal budget (quota).

There were 97 works coming in from Serbia, Srpska, Montenegro and the diaspora for the tenth jubilee competition of the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Serbia and Žrnov magazine for the 2022 Izvor literary award for the most beautiful poem and most beautiful story about the homeland. Two authors from North Macedonia and Bulgaria also took part in the competition.
Upon the initiative and with the support of the St Petersburg Education Committee, from 16 January to 8 April 2023, the St Petersburg Academy of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education is holding the Remote Olympiad in History and Culture of St Petersburg with international participation.
