The Committee for Resolving the Housing Issue of Serbs Expelled from the Federation of BiH and Croatia called on all those exiled from those territories who do not have a roof over their heads in Serbia, to fill in the online survey questionnaire on the prognani.rs website by 15 December and thus take the first step in solving this existential problem.
Committee representative Slađana Roža explained that this concerned all the exiled from FBiH and Croatia living as tenants, with their families or in dilapidated houses and households.
– Those who are not satisfied with their housing can also fill in the questionnaire. We estimate that more than 30,000 people, even up to 50,000, have no roof over their heads. That is the size of a smaller Serbian town – Roža told RTS.
She called on the elderly and those living alone and not using computers, to contact the Committee by telephone in order to fill in the questionnaire.
Roža announced that the Committee would also contact the Serbian Orthodox Church, because this was an issue that had to be resolved once and for all.
– After 15 December, we will have a complete understanding of the questionnaires. Then we will conduct an analysis and contact the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, the Prime Minister, Ana Brnabić, and MP Miodrag Linta, who thus far has been solving the problems of the exiled and has been the only voice in the Assembly – said Roža.
