A delegation of the Republic of Srpska Investment Development Bank and head of the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Vienna, Mladen Filipović, exchanged opinions on the possibilities and forms of future enhanced cooperation to attract foreign investors, given the mutual goal to strengthen business environment in Srpska.

IDB representatives informed Filipović about the investment profiles of Srpska and its municipalities and cities developed by the IDB, with the objective to complete and promote these profiles, attract foreign investment to the Republic of Srpska, create new employment and strengthen business environment, the IDB announced.

The meeting agreed that already in the coming days an Austrian company would visit the Republic of Srpska IDB.

The visit of the IDB delegation to Vienna continues with a meeting with the Austrian business diaspora.

A conference with participation of IDB representatives and about 40 Austrian businessmen and organizations is also scheduled for today, organized by the Republic of Srpska Representation in Austria and the Austrian-Serbian Business Forum.

Austrian investors will be presented investment opportunities, potentials and capital projects of the Republic of Srpska, municipalities and cities of Srpska, as well as the activities carried out by the IDB to strongly promote Srpska’s potentials.

– The intent guiding us in creating the investment profiles of the Republic of Srpska and our municipalities and cities, was to gather all economic and tourism potentials of the Republic of Srpska in one place and facilitate access to information for interested investors’ – reads the statement.

The investment profiles to be presented by the IDB at fairs, congresses, conferences, representative offices, embassies and any place holding a chance for good and quality promotion of the Republic of Srpska, will be available also in English, and are planned to be translated into other foreign languages.
