Banja Luka is to hold an investment forum intended for the investors interested in investing in the Republic of Srpska.
Dražen Vrhovac, acting director of the IDB Republic of Srpska, said that the investment forum imposed itself as an event needed to be organized.
‘To bring to our Banja Luka all the contacts we have established, all the investors we have visited, to show them on the spot what the Republic of Srpska is and present it’, said Vrhovac.
That forum is an event created to present all the potentials of the Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka, he said.
He says that at this forum the IDB will present direct investment potentials to investors, and that the Government of the Republic of Srpska will present its tax policy, which is one of the biggest factors for investors deciding to invest here. In addition, municipalities and cities from Srpska will participate in the forum and present their potentials.
‘We have two goals, to present the Republic of Srpska through projects and to show our Republic of Srpska and our hospitality to investors. In mid-July, we have a significant visit from a group of investors who have already decided to invest in the Republic of Srpska, and they are only interested in whether they are welcome. We arranged a meeting with the President of the Republic’, said Vrhovac and added that it concerned tourism potential.
