Starting today, excerpts from the registers of births, marriages and deaths, as well as certificates of citizenship can be requested via Viber in Laktaši. Many citizens will now enjoy easier communication with the city administration and faster access to the requested documents.
The new service will be provided by the virtual assistant MIA LAKTAŠI, which has been responding regularly to citizens’ inquiries about various administrative procedures via Viber, Facebook and city portals, and providing service information about the operation of local administrations since last year.
The excerpts are sent by post; there is no need for visiting the city administration; excerpt price is 6 convertible marks to be paid by the applicant on delivery. Delivery of documents from the city of Laktaši will be available for the entire territory of the Republic of Srpska, as well as abroad.
In Laktaši, citizens can learn about the steps of the procedure of concluding a marriage, the procedure of registering an entrepreneur, awarding scholarships to secondary school students and students of the first cycle of studies.
Bijeljina and Laktaši are the first cities in the Republic of Srpska to have their own chatbot coworker, and the innovation has been implemented through the regional project Improving municipal services in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina through ChatBot application, implemented by GIZ and SAGA company, in partnership with the Network for business friendly environment represented by NALED and Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska, within the DeveloPPP program of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). In Serbia, the project is implemented in Sombor and Šabac.
