Fit for Austria is one of the most important business projects, which will last throughout the year, said the Head of the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Austria, Mladen Filipović.
– Visiting and communication in general among our diaspora is very important, especially regarding business – says Filipović.
Concerning projects that are currently being implemented, Filipović points out that one of the most important projects is Fit for Austria, launched also in Banja Luka, to last throughout the year.
– Through the trainings and preparations of the Representation and the Austrian Chamber, we are preparing our businessmen for their presentation in Austria, and the plan is for the first cycle of businessmen to visit Austria in the summer. The cycles include up to 20 participants – Filipović says.
He adds that wood and metal have turned out to be the most important branches for cooperation with Austria.
The Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Austria, in cooperation with the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, the Banja Luka Innovation Center and the Republic of Srpska Development Agency, organized training sessions for Republic of Srpska export-oriented businessmen with the aim of improving economic cooperation and better positioning on the Austrian market.
Registered participants from Banja Luka and Bijeljina completed two training modules during March within the Fit for Austria program.
‘The aim of these trainings is to impart to the participants the knowledge that can contribute to their more efficient introduction to companies in Austria. The Austrian representation of the Republic of Srpska invited all interested companies from the metalworking and woodworking sectors to apply for the project of connecting companies from the Republic of Srpska with businessmen in Austria’, said the Head of the Representation, Mladen Filipović.
Started in Banja Luka and Bijeljina, the Fit for Austria project will last throughout the year and include businessmen from other municipalities and cities of the Republic of Srpska in the next cycle.
