The Investment Development Bank of the Republic of Srpska, in cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Srpska, is organizing the first Invest Forum to be held on 19 September in Banski Dvor in Banja Luka.
– The first Invest Srpska 2023 investment forum is intended for the investors interested in investing in the Republic of Srpska – said IDB Srpska’s Acting Director, Dražen Vrhovac.
He noted that over 300 participants from 20 countries and 60 companies would participate in the Invest Forum, this year entitled Take the Chance, Invest in Srpska.
– With this event, we aim to show foreign investors that we have a lot of potential in which they can safely invest their resources. Also to enable direct communication between our and foreign businessmen and to ensure availability of all information in one place, which is essential for potential investors interested in investing in the Republic of Srpska – said Vrhovac.
Vrhovac says that this is a true opportunity to take part in the market of the Republic of Srpska and international markets.
He also explains that this forum is part of the Invest Srpska investment conference brand, but that it is held separately from the conference, with an exclusive focus on businessmen.
They state that the Invest Forum is an opportunity to discuss specific investment opportunities and offers of the Republic of Srpska and its cities and municipalities, which relate to investing in specific business zones, connecting domestic and foreign businessmen through B2B meetings, presenting domestic companies and their projects ready to be sold to foreign investors or to enter into a joint venture etc.
- This is a concrete business opportunity to connect businessmen of the Republic of Srpska and foreign businessmen, through partnerships or direct investments. Businessmen from Italy, Japan, China, Turkey, Switzerland, Serbia, Austria, Hungary, Russian Federation, United Arab Emirates, Croatia, Greece, Netherlands, Poland, Slovenia, Azerbaijan, Czech Republic, Germany have confirmed their participation so far - it is added.
Also, it was concluded that businessmen needed more time and opportunities for direct B2B, B2G and G2G meetings, which is precisely what this forum will enable, and which may serve for new investments, job creation and economy strengthening.
- The plan is to present the stimulating business environment of the Republic of Srpska to businessmen at the forum, to present companies and assets in which foreign investors are interested, and for local communities to present their business zones, with specific offers for brownfield and greenfield investments - announced the IDB Srpska.
They add that the goal is for the forum to introduce businessmen to the possibilities of investing in specific projects in various sectors of the economy (energy, agriculture, industry, tourism, infrastructure).
The 2023 Invest Forum is organized by the Investment Development Bank in cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Srpska, to present direct investment opportunities, tax policy, which is one of the biggest factors why investors decide to invest with us.
In addition, Srpska’s municipalities and cities will also participate in the Forum to present their potential.
