The Minister of European Integration and International Cooperation of the Republic of Srpska, Zlatan Klokić, said today that Srpska’s representative offices abroad, primarily those in Austria and Germany, would be asked to organize events to promote the economic potential of Srpska abroad.
Klokić told journalists in Banja Luka that the representative offices where deficiencies had been identified were expected to remedy them promptly, adding that this mainly concerned timely delivery of monthly reports.
He reminded that according to the decision of the Government of Srpska, a working group had been appointed to review the work of the representative offices, resulting in conclusions to eliminate the identified procedural deficiencies in their work.
Klokić recalled that for a long time the Republic of Srpska had been cooperating with consulting companies and not lobbyists abroad, and receiving support in terms of respect for international law and protection of the constitutional and legal position of Srpska at the international level.
According to him, this cooperation is also reflected in the regular delivery of semi-annual reports by the Government of Srpska to the UN Security Council.
