During the Srpska Days in Serbia event organized by the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Belgrade, rich content and program await the visitors in 11 cities across Serbia, said the Minister of European Integration and International Cooperation of the Republic of Srpska, Zlatan Klokić.

Klokić said that the event would open officially on Wednesday, 20 September, at the National Theater in Belgrade, and close on 26 September at the National Theater in Niš.

– Through 11 cities, Srpska will present itself in the best light. This is a project that was launched in 2013 with the idea of presenting the Republic of Srpska and its potential to the citizens of Serbia in a new and unique way, and strengthening the connection between the Serbian people on both sides of the Drina – said the minister.

He stated that something new was being introduced this year, namely performances by Venac Ensemble from Gračanica, choir of the Children’s Cultural Center, Beogradski sindikat, and National Ensemble Kolo, which would also open the event.

– Of our artists, Banja Luka’s Trag ethno group and One Tri band will perform before the Serbian audience, while the Encyclopedia of the Republic of Srpska will be presented in Novi Sad – said Klokić.

Klokić says that there is great interest in this event in the 11 Serbian cities and that in previous years the halls were filled to capacity.

– Additional tickets were always sought, the people follow wholeheartedly what is happening in Srpska and look forward to our every success, which shows our fraternal relationship. We may say that this event has awakened everything that we wanted in the people of Serbia – notes Klokić.

He reminded that so far Serbia had donated over 96 million euros to the Republic of Srpska through infrastructure projects nominated by our municipalities and cities, in addition to some FBiH municipalities with majority Serb population.
