The Committee for Protection of the Rights of Serbs in the Federation of BiH /FBiH/ invites Serbs from the Bihać settlement of Lohovo to contact legal aid offices in order to protect their land rights.
The Committee informs Serbs from this Bihać settlement that the Municipal Court in Bihać, the Land Register Office, announced establishment and replacement of land registers for the cadastral municipality of Lohovo under the new survey, i.e. Ripač-Lohovo under the old survey.
If applying directly to the court, the owners need to declare their rights by two copies of the submission and to file supporting evidence, otherwise their right will not be taken into account in the establishment of land register sheet, says the Committee for Protection of Serb Rights in FBiH.
In their announcement of establishing and replacing the land register for the cadastral municipalities of Lohovo and Orljani, the Court in Bihać specifies that the deadline for submitting applications is 60 days, i.e. that this deadline may be extended by 90 days upon request to allow for obtaining the required evidence.
‘All interested persons are invited to declare their rights and resolve their property ownership,’ reads the announcement of the Court in Bihać, and points out that the declaration of rights ensures participation in the process of establishing the right to real estate.
The submissions may be filed in person with the Municipal Court in Bihać or by mail to the address of the Municipal Court in Bihać, at Bosanska 4, 77 000 Bihać.
