The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Srpska, Boris Pašalić, and Chairman of the Banja Luka City Assembly, Mladen Ilić, met in Belgrade with the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Serbia, Branislav Nedimović, the Chairman of the Belgrade City Assembly, Nikola Nikodijević, and the Deputy Mayor of Belgrade, Goran Vesić.

The topic of the meeting was opening of the Krajina and Herzegovina Houses in Belgrade.

– The Republic of Srpska and Serbia are fraternal countries and today’s feeling is something that substantiates our ties and the continuity of our centuries-old relations. What makes me happy is that the Republic of Srpska will be able to offer its products to all citizens of Serbia – Ilić said after the meeting.

Pašalić said that cooperation between Serbia and Republic of Srpska in the field of agriculture was continuous, as proven by this initiative.

– In the coming period, the Republic of Srpska will work even harder on stimulating farmers, in order to enable them to produce as many types of products as possible and thus strengthen the range offered by Srpska – said Pašalić.

Nikodijević said that what made him happiest was seeing launched initiatives enter the implementation stage.

– Only three weeks ago, Chairman Mladen Ilić and I announced at a joint meeting that we would jointly launch the initiative with the Governments of Srpska and Serbia to open the Krajina and Herzegovina houses in Belgrade, and today we see it coming to an epilogue – said Nikodijević

As part of the Republic of Srpska delegation, the meeting was attended by the Mayor of Trebinje, Mirko Ćurić, the Director of the Banja Luka Center for Agricultural and Rural Development, Draško Ilić, and the Director of the Trebinje Agrarian Fund, Veselin Dutina.
