In addition to recently promoting Herzegovina in Vienna, the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Austria plans to present in the coming period the potential of other regions of Srpska – Krajina, Semberija, Romanija.
The Representation said that in the coming period they would continue to implement projects that promoted Srpska’s business, tourist and cultural potential.
– Our main activity is promotion of the potential and resources of the Republic of Srpska in cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Srpska and other relevant institutions, and our activities contribute to the development of institutional and other cooperation between the Republic of Srpska and Austria aimed at building friendly ties and improving cooperation in various areas – said the Republic of Srpska Representation in Austria.
– In January, together with the Ministry of Trade and Tourism and Tourism Organization of the Republic of Srpska, we will organize the participation and promotion of Republic of Srpska’s tourism potential at the Viennese international tourism fair – announced the Representation.
According to them, traditionally in January they will organize an Austrian delegation visit to Banja Luka on the occasion of celebration of the Day of the Republic of Srpska, and in early March they will organize a ceremonial reception in Vienna on the occasion of the Day of the Proclamation of the First Constitution of the Republic of Srpska.
– In cooperation with the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Alliance of Serbs in Austria as the umbrella organization that brings together our numerous associations and clubs throughout Austria, we will continue to support the activities of the Serbian community in preserving culture and tradition, which includes implementation of various events and initiatives, as well as cooperation development with relevant Austrian institutions – said the Representation.
The Representation stated that their main goal was to create opportunities for expanding economic cooperation, promote natural and business potential of the Republic of Srpska in order to attract foreign investments.
The Representation is actively implementing support measures for export activities for businessmen from the Republic of Srpska, and invites business entities from the Republic of Srpska to contact the Representation for support.
In this regard, they invite businessmen to register in the Business Register available on their website, which is used to create a database and contact key Austrian sectors and companies.
– In cooperation with the former Austrian minister of health Andrea Kdolsky, we are working to include leading spa and rehabilitation institutions of the Republic of Srpska in the offer covered by health insurance for patients living in Austria – announced the Representation.
‘The Representation will continue next year to develop a strategy for promoting the tourism potential of the Republic of Srpska, as well as domestic, organic products, which are generating great interest in the Austrian market,’ stated the Representation.
