In order to improve the quality of research and innovation in the Republic of Srpska, the Ministry of Scientific and Technological Development, Higher Education and Information Society of the Republic of Srpska issues a public invitation to scientists and innovators in all fields, born in the Republic of Srpska and working abroad, to apply to the Diaspora Register available on the Republic of Srpska and the Diaspora portal at https://dijasporars.com/registar-dijaspore/ to enable closer connections between science professionals and innovators in the country and those from the diaspora.
The Ministry hopes for successful cooperation of our scientists and innovators with scientists and innovators from the diaspora, because research and innovation are an irreplaceable condition and factor of economic, cultural and general progress of each country.
We ask interested scientists and innovators to register in the Diaspora Register, so that the Ministry can establish a database of diaspora scientists and innovators.
Note: In accordance with the Strategic Plan for Cooperation with the Diaspora, the Diaspora is the part of the people originating from the Republic of Srpska, who are permanently residing in one or several countries of the world. These are the persons who were born but do not live in the Republic of Srpska, and have a sense of belonging and a strong social and cultural connection with their motherland. This term certainly includes also members of the second and third generation of emigrants, born abroad, whose parents emigrated from the territory of the Republic of Srpska, and who have a sense of belonging to the country of origin of their parents.
