The Minister without Portfolio in the Government of the Republic of Serbia responsible for monitoring the situation, proposing measures and participating in the coordination of activities in the field of relations with the diaspora, Đorđe Milićević, visited yesterday the Kostić family, who had returned from Austria to Serbia after 20 years, in the village of Brzan near Batočina.

Milićević said that their example showed that knowledge, experience and committed work acquired abroad could be invested in the development of one’s country. Each family’s return to Serbia for good is of immeasurable importance. This is not just one more address in our country, but new jobs, investments, knowledge and new generations that will grow up in their homeland, said the minister.

According to him, their sons are also considering returning to Serbia with their own families, which best confirms that they have made the right decision and that they believe in the future of their country.

The policy of the Serbian Government is to be a support for each our individual in the world who wants to return, said Milićević, adding that their task is to create conditions to make return easier and life in Serbia better.

He said that we were facing a time of return, reunion, and a time when we want our families, knowledge, and capital to be in one place again – in Serbia.
