This autumn, Serbian language classes will start also in Malta. The classes have been established with the assistance of the Directorate for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region, and starting from this school year they will be part of the system of our Ministry of Education.

‘During the first day of the professional seminar organized by the Serbian Language and Literature Society of Serbia in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, the teachers attended live and remotely the exceptional lectures of our dear professors, and also extended a warm welcome to Jelena Jablanov Maksimović and Maja Marinković, who will be teaching over 170 students in Malta’, pointed out the page of the Serbian school in France, Italy and Slovenia.

The professional seminar was also attended by the new teachers of the Serbian school, Vera Hristić Majstorović and Slavica Radovanović in Ljubljana and Snežana Vojkanović Ćeferjanović in the Paris region, who, as was pointed out, were ‘welcomed with joy’. The seminar was also attended by children’s author Dejan Aleksić, who promised in a pleasant conversation to spend time with the children of supplementary schools.

The seminar was attended by a large number of teachers who teach in Serbian supplementary schools, as well as all three coordinators Biljana Bukinac, Blaženka Trivunčić and Tatjana Popović.
The Serbian school in Malta will be under the responsibility of the coordinator Blaženka Trivunčić, who is already the coordinator of schools in France, Italy and Slovenia.
