The 45th International Tourism Fair opened in Belgrade, where around 500 exhibitors from more than 27 countries, including the Republic of Srpska, will present their tourism offer from 22 to 25 February.
Srpska’s tourism offer is presented at a stand provided by the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Serbia and Republic of Srpska Tourism Organization, where they will present the tourism offer of Srpska through promotional tourist materials, brochures, video materials and presentations. Prijedor, Kozarska Dubica, Laktaši, Teslić, Foča, Ugljevik, Zvornik, Novi Grad, Gradiška, Srebrenica, Kalinovik, Derventa, Bratunac, Sokolac, Nevesinje, Šipovo and Srbac are the local tourism organizations to be represented.
This largest and most visited event of its kind in the region held at the Belgrade Fair, with Greece as this year’s partner country, was opened by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and Greek Minister of Tourism, Olga Kefalogianni, and the opening attended by officials from Serbia, Republic of Srpska, Greece, Montenegro, Angola, Sao Tome and Principe.
‘I wish you all the best and much success. I just want you to know how much we love the Republic of Srpska,’ said Vučić, and added that there was interest in Srpska’s spa centers also in Serbia and that this should be discussed.
On Friday, 23 February, the second day of Republic of Srpska’s participation at the 45th International Tourism Fair in Belgrade, the Minister of European Integration and International Cooperation of the Republic of Srpska Zlatan Klokić will visit the representative stand of the Republic of Srpska Representation and Republic of Srpska Tourism Organization (Hall 1, stand 14).
The spas of the Republic of Srpska will be presented at the same place at 12:00 hrs. The Spas Association and Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska will present spa tourism of the Republic of Srpska.
The presentation of tourism offer and potential of these destinations will continue at the stands of tourism organizations of Banja Luka, Trebinje, Istočno Sarajevo (Jahorina), Bijeljina, Višegrad and Brčko District, and stands of Ravna planina – Stan promet Ski Center Pale, Kozara National Park and Mlječanica Spa, together with travel agencies and other tourism service providers.
Participation in this Fair is of great interest for the Republic of Srpska, because most visitors and tourists to Srpska come from the Republic of Serbia.
Working hours for visitors to the 45th International Tourism Fair are from 10:00 to 19:00 on 22, 23 and 24 February, and from 10:00 to 18:00 on 25 February.
