At the Days of Srpska in Serbia, we will endeavor to show the potential of the Republic of Srpska in almost all areas, said Zlatan Klokić, the Minister for European Integration and International Cooperation of the Republic of Srpska, as a guest on the RTRS morning program.

The event Days of Srpska in Serbia, its ninth edition, will be held from 22 to 29 September.

– This year, unlike last year, it will be held in the traditional manner, naturally in compliance with all the prescribed measures. It will take place in 11 cities. All will start from Belgrade with a performance by the Banja Luka Philharmonic Orchestra. On that day, we are expecting a presentation of economic zones in the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, with a special focus on Podrinje region. In addition, four cities will be presented, namely Prijedor, Gradiška, Zvornik and Trebinje – says Klokić.

The closing of the event is planned in Novi Sad, with a cultural and artistic program, and presentation of the Ethno group Trag.

– The potentials of Srpska will cover all areas, naturally the main being economy and tourism, but we will not disregard achievements in the fields of culture, sports, science, education. That is why the emphasis is on the economic zones, to present our potentials, and to arouse investor interest to invest in Srpska – Klokić added.

He noted that cooperation between the Republic of Srpska and Serbia was at a very enviable level.

– There is no city or municipality where Serbia has not helped Srpska directly, through various projects. Certainly, the highway through Rača and Bijeljina, connecting the western part of Srpska with Belgrade is capital, but there is also the Belgrade – Sarajevo highway. Serbia is the leading foreign trade partner of Srpska, but also the most important investor. Much of that has been specified in the existing special and parallel relations. Although that is not disputable, the relations have never been stronger or more concrete – concluded Zlatko Klokić.
