Representatives of the Greek company Aktor, which is interested in investing in the Republic of Srpska, visited the Investment Development Bank of Srpska, where they discussed investment possibilities and forms.
This visit is a result of the recent meeting of IDB representatives with the Ambassador of Greece to BiH, Dimitrios Papandreou, in Sarajevo, held as part of the intensive and strong promotion of the economic potential of the Republic of Srpska.
The visit of the Greek company followed after they had learned details about the investment profiles of the Republic of Srpska and its cities and municipalities.
The aim of the visit is to establish direct contact with institutions and businessmen in the Republic of Srpska, the IDB announced.
The meeting was also attended by the president of the Republic of Srpska Chamber of Commerce, Pero Ćorić, and president of the Union of Employers’ Associations of the Republic of Srpska, Saša Trivić.
Aktor is the construction arm of the Greek Ellaktor group, the largest infrastructure group in Greece and one of the leaders in Southeast Europe.
It specializes in infrastructure, construction and industrial projects, wastewater treatment, photovoltaic parks, quarries and project management.
The Ellaktor group, with its international presence and diversified activities, is focused on construction, concessions, environment, renewable energy sources and real estate development.
It operates in 22 countries and has almost 7,500 employees.
