BiH Consul General in Munich, Vera Sajić, believes that participation of companies from BiH at the textile fair Munich Fabric Start is an opportunity to promote their products on the foreign market, but also to make new business contacts and export contracts.

– The products of these companies are already established as a good brand in our country and with their quality they can conquer some new markets and compete with European and global companies – Sajić said after speaking with representatives of these companies.

She stated that in a conversation with the representatives of BiH companies, she had agreed to forward their catalogs and contacts to the addresses of the three chambers of commerce – those of Bavaria, Saxony and Thuringia, the federal provinces covered by the Consulate, and thus present the companies and their opportunities to potentially interested partners or customers.

Sajić added that Munich Fabric Start was one of the leading European textile fairs.

This year, around 1,000 manufacturers from 40 countries with more than 1,800 collections and their comprehensive range of textiles, accessories, finishing and textile procurement, make it one of the most important international business platforms for fashion design, product management and purchasing in a unique fair format.

Five companies from BiH are presenting their products and services at the three-day International Textile and Clothing Fair Munich Fabric Start, which began on 30 August in this German city.

These are the companies Glorija Line from Banja Luka, Sana from Kostajnica, Bellissima from Sarajevo, Prevent from Travnik, and Kismet/Maestro Suits, Doboj Istok.

The BiH companies are represented at this fair with the support of the BiH Foreign Trade Chamber, Republic of Srpska Chamber of Commerce, and Swiss export promotion program.
