On the occasion of the first day of the four-day event Days of Serbian Culture, words of welcome were delivered by Milan Glamočanin, artistic director and vice president of the Brdo Cultural Society. The event was attended by Mitar Vujinovića, president of the Society, Janez Černeta, deputy mayor of Kranj, Goran Markovića, chargé d’affaires at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Ljubljana, Milinko Špica, Serbian consul in Slovenia, Zlatomir Bodiroža, president of the Association of Serbian Societies in Slovenia, Duško Pevulja, full professor of the University of Banja Luka, Krstan Šućur, member of the Serb Community Council in the Government of the Republic of Slovenia.
A cultural and artistic program was organized by the girl group Brđanke, the group Autetno from Ljubljana.
The Serbian Culture Days project, traditionally organized by the Brdo Cultural Society, is co-financed by the Public Fund for Cultural Activities of the Republic of Slovenia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia – Directorate for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region.
