A delegation of the Austrian-Serbian Business Forum (ÖSWF), the Association of Serbian Businesspeople in Austria (USPA), and the Austrian-Serbian Society (ÖSG), in cooperation with the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Austria, visited local communities in the Republic of Srpska to present donations to schools and the Prijedor firefighters.
During the visit, the delegation stopped at the Vuk Karadžić Elementary School in Kozarska Dubica and the Desanka Maksimović Elementary School in Prijedor, donating equipment essential for improving working and general conditions for students and staff. The donations included desks, chairs, and other necessary furnishings.
The initiative was implemented through the cooperation of a school from the Austrian town of Premstätten, the Republic of Srpska Representation in Austria, and the Mayor of Premstätten, Matthias Pokorn, PhD.
In addition to the schools, the Austrian delegation visited the Prijedor Territorial Fire and Rescue Unit, which also received a donation of equipment.
The delegation included, among others, representatives of the Austrian-Serbian Business Forum, the Association of Serbian Businesspeople in Austria, and the Austrian-Serbian Society, as well as the Honorary Consul of BiH in Graz, Jörg Hofreiter, and USPA member Igor Miketić from Vienna.
