The project of RS municipalities and cities scanning, implemented by the eKapija business portal in cooperation with the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Serbia, continues with the presentation of economic and development potentials of the municipality of Novi Grad.

After Trebinje, Sokolac, Gradiška, Petrovo, Milići, Zvornik, Laktaši, Jezero, Vlasenica, also Novi Grad has obtained a digital, business ID card which includes and presents its infrastructure projects, but also agricultural, forestry, tourism and other capacities.

Through series of discussions, one can learn about the most important development projects to be implemented by Novi Grad in the coming period. All its investment opportunities are also in one place.

Nature was generous in the territory of Novi Grad and endowed it with many beauties – fertile soil, abundant springs, forests and rivers. It is precisely these natural resources that offer the greatest potential for the development of tourism, agriculture, mining, and wood processing.

The biggest chance of this municipality lies in spa tourism development through the existing spa and recreation center Lješljani. There are also significant deposits of brown coal, bentonite, gypsum and dolomite.

What investors should know is that the existing processing industry branches with a long tradition – wood processing, textile, machine and metal industry – have a great development potential in the municipality of Novi Grad.
