The Mayor of Trebinje, Mirko Ćurić, and Head of the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in the Republic of Austria, Mladen Filipović, agreed that successful students, athletes and representatives of cultural organizations from the city of Trebinje visit Vienna in the coming period.

Ćurić said that the Republic of Srpska’s Austrian Representation offered to organize a multi-day stay for guests from Trebinje and to provide accommodation for all of them.

‘We also agreed that the delegation of the city and businessmen visit Vienna in the coming period and speak with the representatives of the Chamber of Commerce there in order to look at cooperation potential. On the other hand, we from Trebinje will organize an Austrian business delegation’s visit to Trebinje,’ said Ćurić.

He said he expected the visits to Austria from Trebinje to start already from June this year.

‘The priority in those visits will be successful students, athletes, but also members of cultural organizations. A large number of our compatriots live in Vienna, and we wish to connect with them, but also to have them come to visit Trebinje,’ noted Ćurić.

The Head of the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Austria, Mladen Filipović, said the Representation would bear the costs of the visit and stay of our people and business delegation in the city of Trebinje.

‘I will use my time in Trebinje to visit the company Dineco, which we connected successfully with the Austrian market last year,’ said Filipović.

He added that he was looking forward to the cooperation, which he believed would be to mutual satisfaction.
