Works on the Let’s Read Together campaign are presented at the Plus Gallery of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Banja Luka.
It is a campaign of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska aimed at promoting the Serbian language, literature and Cyrillic alphabet. The exhibition presents graphic solutions of the campaign, and the authors are students of the Banja Luka Academy of Arts and Trebinje Academy of Fine Arts.
– I must note that we received interesting, creative works, and the task was to illustrate the alphabet and Cyrillic letters in a creative way. What we can see in the Plus Gallery are precisely the works of those students, and the interest was really great – said Tanja Đaković, the assistant minister for culture.
A total of twelve works by ten students who participated in the competition of the Ministry are exhibited.
– We were glad to accept that our students and mentors work on these graphic solutions. We are extremely satisfied with the solutions because they are a combination of traditional and contemporary and thus will be easier to approach the wider population – said Dragana Purković Macan, the dean of the Arts Academy of the Banja Luka University.
