Bambi cultural and sports society from Vienna participated in the United Nations humanitarian action, representing Serbia in the most beautiful way. In cooperation with the Serbian Mission to international organizations in Vienna, Bambi participated in a humanitarian bazaar to help children around the world.
This humanitarian bazaar is organized every year with the aim of collecting aid for children around the world, and it is an opportunity for member countries to present their country, tradition and culture. This year, more than 80 countries participated with their stands.
The bazaar is of a sales character and it offered buying souvenirs as well as tasting drinks and food from all over the world. Some countries were given the opportunity to present their culture and traditions within the program. Thus, Bambi music group performed a short program.
– It was a great honor to have the opportunity to support this action as a society and to be the representative of Serbia at such an important event in which a large number of countries from all over the world participated. In our Bambi, children occupy a special place and we pay special attention to working with them, which is what we are known for in the diaspora. For us, children, as well as humanitarian actions, are extremely important and this was an opportunity to help raise funds to help all our friends around the world. I hope that by participating in this event, we contributed to at least one child in the world having a slightly better childhood – said Aleksandar Stanković, president of Bambi.
At Bambi stand, which was very popular, members dressed in folk costumes offered visitors numerous products from Serbia, ranging from sweets to wine and tourist brochures with an offer to visit our country.

By the way, this bazaar to collect aid for children around the world has been supported for years by embassies and international missions to the UN. Since 1968, the bazaar has raised more than five million euros for charity.
