The Republic of Srpska and Serbia are ready to celebrate the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom and National Flag.
Citizens are invited to display Serbian tricolors on their homes on 15 September.
The day will be marked in Banja Luka and Belgrade.
A ceremonial academy will be held in Banja Luka, and central manifestation will take place the next day in Belgrade.
Last year, Srpska and Serbia entered in the calendar of joint holidays 15 September, the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom and National Flag, marking the anniversary of Salonika Front breakthrough in the First World War.
On the occasion of the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom and National Flag, the parliaments in Serbia and the Republic of Srpska will adopt the Law on the Use of the Serbian Language in Public Life and the Protection and Preservation of the Cyrillic Script.
The initiative to adopt the Law came from the Serb member of BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik, and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.
The proposal provides for the expansion of the circle of entities obliged to use Cyrillic, and incentive measures aimed at the private sector, i.e. facilities for those who decide to use Cyrillic in their work and business.
In anticipation of the special parliament session, an exhibition of the most beautiful Cyrillic manuscripts will be opened in the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska.
