The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Višković, and the Governor of St Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, signed the document Roadmap 2021-2023.
This document regulates cooperation between the Republic of Srpska and St Petersburg in the field of business, economy, science, culture, health, trade and sports.
– We will work a lot at the level of institutions. We will cooperate in the field of health, education, economy and culture, and that is where the greatest progress has been achieved – Višković said for RTRS.
He pointed out that it was necessary to connect sports and youth organizations from Srpska and St Petersburg.
The meeting discussed previous cooperation between the Republic of Srpska and St Petersburg, with reference to the past year which was marked by the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, announced the Government of Srpska.
Višković thanked Governor Beglov for the assistance and support provided to the Republic of Srpska in the fight against the coronavirus, including medical assistance provided, i.e. delivery of medical devices and disinfectants, as well as in connection with vaccination as Sputnik vaccine was delivered to the Republic of Srpska, like most countries, earlier this year.
Višković also thanked Beglov for the good relations and good cooperation in the field of health, as reflected in the exchange of medical experts, doctors, specialists from the Republic of Srpska University Clinical Center and St Petersburg Clinical Center.
Governor Beglov assessed the current cooperation between St Petersburg and Republic of Srpska as successful and good, tending to continue to develop in all areas in the following period.
Beglov expressed satisfaction that a large number of citizens of the Republic of Srpska had demonstrated confidence in Sputnik vaccine in the process of immunization against coronavirus.
