Since yesterday, all citizens of the Republic of Srpska and Federation of BiH can be vaccinated anywhere and anytime in Serbia free of charge, and receive a certificate, just like the citizens of Serbia.
The head of the Republic of Srpska in Serbia, Mlađen Cicović, told RTRS that yesterday already a large number of citizens responded to the invitation of Serbian President, Aleksandar Vučić.
– This news is extremely important for citizens of the Republic of Srpska and BiH and clearly speaks of Serbia’s primary commitment to health and fight against the coronavirus pandemic. Serbia has previously donated significant quantities of vaccines to countries in the region. Vučić’s wish is to help us fight the pandemic together and gain immunity – said Cicović.
He added that during the previous day, the Representation had received a large number of calls from citizens inquiring how they could be vaccinated.
– The procedure is very simple. Anyone who wants to be vaccinated can come to any vaccination center in Serbia with a passport or ID card. If they want to have it done in Belgrade, BiH citizens can check on the website of the City of Belgrade where the vaccination points are located, while in other cities, as a rule, the points are located in health centers – says Cicović.
Cicović emphasized that there were sufficient quantities of the vaccine and that citizens of BiH could have the same vaccines as those offered to the citizens of Serbia. He added that the vaccination process in Serbia was running smoothly and that there were no crowds at vaccination points.
