Stuttgart hosted a screening of the film The Witness, which, among other things, addresses the suffering of Serbs in the past war and the work of the renowned doctor Zoran Stanković.

The screening was attended by the Minister of European Integration and International Cooperation, Zlatan Klokić, who said that this was one of the activities of the Ministry, and that film was one of the most powerful media for presenting the truth about the suffering of Serbs.

The premiere was attended by guests from the social, business and political life of Stuttgart, as well as representatives of the Serbian community in Germany and institutions of the Republic of Srpska.

The Head of the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Germany, Mićo Ćetković, says that this documentary presents new facts.

The director of The Witness Denis Bojić said that story of the suffering of the Serbian people was our vital need, in view of the historical, but also current political pressures on the Republic of Srpska and its institutions.

The screening was organized by the Republic of Srpska Representation in Germany, the Ministry of European Integration and International Cooperation of the Republic of Srpska, and the Serbian-German Cultural and Sports Club Sloga Stuttgart.

The screening was followed by meetings at the Republic of Srpska Representation with former Bundestag member Stefan Kaufmann, the Consul General, and representatives of Serb associations in Germany.
