In Paris we presented officially the Representative Office of the Republic of Srpska in France.

It is a particular pleasure to have gathered in one place more than 15 Serbian associations from the diaspora, which are dedicated to preserving our tradition, culture and language. Such meetings show how important it is to stay connected and to preserve together what unites us.

The meeting expressed strong support for the work and opening of the Representative Office, with a common message from all present that Serbs from Serbia and the Republic of Srpska are one people who should remain connected, regardless of where they live.

Representatives of the associations said that such initiatives were of great importance for the diaspora, because they helped preserve identity, but also opened up space for stronger cooperation, better communication with institutions and development of diplomatic and cultural ties between countries.

The meeting showed that the Serbian community in France wants to contribute actively to connecting the homeland and the diaspora, with the message that unity remains the key to preserving identity and strengthening relations between peoples.
