With another new school year successfully started in the second half of September in the Serbian supplementary school in Bavaria, which is organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia, the data shows a great interest in this form of education on the part of parents and their children. At the request for formation of new student groups addressed by parents from the cities of Regensburg, Augsburg and Fürstenfeldbruck to the diplomatic and consular mission in Munich, the procedure was started to form new groups. After the Ministry of Education approved the work of new groups, students gathered in their classrooms for the first time in October. Since the interest in enrolling new students in already existing student groups has grown in Ingolstadt, a third student group has been opened.

New Student Group in Regensburg

With solemn intoning of the national anthem Bože pravde (God of Justice), the supplementary school in the Serbian language started operation in Regensburg at the beginning of October, to the joy of many children of Serbian origin, as well as their parents.

The school is organized by the Ministry of Education, with the selfless help of the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Munich.

Teaching according to a special program of education abroad is carried out in the following subjects: Serbian language, my homeland Serbia, and basics of the culture of the Serbian people..

The newly opened group consists of 28 students divided by age: younger, middle and older.

In addition to Serbia, there are children originating from the Republic of Srpska.

New Student Groups in Augsburg and Fürstenfeldbruck

The idea of forming new classes of the Serbian supplementary school was launched at the suggestion of parents in Augsburg and Fürstenfeldbruck, two cities in the province of Bavaria. The classes were opened with the efforts of parents and involvement of staff of the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Munich, and owing to the Serbian Ministry of Education.
