One of the largest production and commercial facilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the German company Mahle Electric Drives Bosnia has been completed.

The production and commercial facility in Laktaši covers 30,908 m2 of interior area and 37,600 m2 of developed exterior.

The works on the facility were executed by the company Baupartner from Lukavac.

‘Our commitment to top quality and efficiency came to the fore through this facility, where we did everything from preliminary design, detailed design and finally the turnkey project,’ the company stated.

This will be one of the largest production facilities in the auto industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Mayor of Laktaši, Miroslav Bojić, said earlier that this was an investment of almost 20 million euros.

He then said that the German company Mahle had been active in the territory of Laktaši municipality for many years, and that the new factory should employ more than 700 staff, who should also have better working conditions.
