The Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Zoran Tegeltija, said today in Munich that he was satisfied with the great interest of the diaspora to be actively involved in the economic and business development and life of the Republic of Srpska.

– It was an honor for me to visit the Serbian church community in Munich today, to meet with the faithful and priests, and to speak about all their issues and impressions here in Germany, and about memories from their homeland – said Tegeltija after visiting the Church of St. John Vladimir in Munich and attending the liturgy.

He pointed out that this was an opportunity to speak with members of the associations bringing together Serbian people in the diaspora, about the ideas and opportunities that the diaspora could offer to the Republic of Srpska, but also about what Srpska could offer the diaspora.

According to him, clear messages are coming from the diaspora that many are interested in returning, that many have something to offer, namely the knowledge and experience gained abroad, and that they expect the authorities and municipalities in the Republic of Srpska to afford them the opportunity, and not have their procedures delayed or complicated.

Tegeltija said that the people he had met today were ready for their new business and every other life in the Republic of Srpska.

– It will be my pleasure to continue cooperating with these associations and the Serbian Orthodox Church and gathering our people, not only here in Munich, but also in the Republic of Srpska – Tegeltija pointed out.

The head of the church of St. John Vladimir, Bojan Simić, thanked the Chairman of the Council of Ministers for the visit, emphasizing that the faithful from this area were waking up and praying to God to bless them, make them wise and stronger in Christian virtues.

– Therefore, yesterday we had a prayer for world peace, as part of a conference held here in Munich, and our prayer was addressed primarily to the people holding the power to maintain that peace, to help and continue to build it for the benefit of the whole world, but above all of our people – said protopope Simić.

Consul General of BiH in Munich, Vera Sajić, said that it was very important that the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Zoran Tegeltija, had attended the Munich Conference because it was a global brand.

– It is important that we were present there, and it is also important that the Chairman, with many engagements, found time to visit his faithful and the Serbian church here in Munich – said Sajić.

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers previously attended the Munich Security Conference in this German city.
