Students of the Faculty of Political Science (FPS) and the Faculty of Law of the University of Banja Luka (UNIBL) took part in the 14th regional seminar for political science students, held on Zlatibor from 5 to 8 March.
According to Ljubiša Aćimović, president of the FPS Student Club, during these four days they had the opportunity to participate in workshops in the field of digital communications, energy and climate change, and in lectures on the new third way and the region and the world in Biden era.
‘The keynote address was delivered by the rector of the University of Belgrade, Prof. Dr Vladan Đokić, who said that this seminar was of great importance in connecting people and establishing common views and ideas of these faculties, which contributed in its own way to the reputation of the University through social engagement’, Aćimović told Nezavisne.
They add that in cooperation with the RS Ministry of Scientific and Technological Development, Higher Education and Information Society, FPS and UNIBL, they offered another experience supplemented by important lectures and unforgettable parties.
Rastko Vučić, president of the Student Union of the Faculty of Law, said that 40 students from Banja Luka and more than 400 colleagues from Belgrade and Ljubljana had spent four days on Zlatibor at several lectures on current political topics, debates, night and day parties, and other activities.
‘Personally, I am very satisfied with the trip and the organization. I am looking forward to future cooperation between the Political Science Students’ Club and the Student Union of the Faculty of Law, to be manifested through a student visit to Belgrade and similar activities’, Vučić said for Nezavisne.
Branko Ružić, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development of Serbia, presented certificates to the best participants at a ceremony and thanked all participants.
