The management board consists of Radmila Antešević, Ljiljana Mitić, Dragica Sauerwein and Ljubiša Simić. Supervisory board president is Katica Stanimirov, and its members are Milana Ninković and Vladimir Živanov.

– It was decided to have the young generations lead the Council. I hope it will continue to be supported by our clubs, which is very important, and everything else will take its course. I am satisfied that the electoral assembly brought changes and that it was the members’ decision – said Miodrag Stojković, who received a certificate of appreciation for his exceptional commitment to the CCSH.

Dijana Avdić says that the new leadership has very ambitious plans for CCSH’s future work.

– We want to help many Serb clubs in Hessen that are facing closure and to support establishment of new clubs in this state. We want the CCSH to become a big name and institution for all Serbs in Hessen. What is important to me, as president, is that we maintain cooperation both with the Republic of Serbia and with German state authorities, that we deal with the integration of our people into German society. Also, it is very important that we cooperate well with the Serbian Orthodox Church in Frankfurt. It is important that we expand cooperation with all the cities in the state of Hessen where our people live. The plan is to achieve cooperation with Wiesbaden, the state capital, which has not happened so far. The plan is to support the establishment of Central Councils of Serbs in the neighboring states, Baden-Württemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate, whose capital Mainz already has a lot of our people who are interested in a supplementary school in the Serbian language – said Avdić.

She thanked the Serbian Society Dunav for offering the club’s premises for holding of the electoral assembly and for the cooperation with the CCSH so far.

Feyyaz Çetiner, the second vice-president of the City of Frankfurt Association of Foreigners also attended the electoral assembly.

Connecting businessmen

– We also want cooperation with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce in Germany because we plan to gather and network our businessmen. We deem it very important to gather our people by target groups and we want to show German society the kind of experts we have here – says Dijana Avdić.
