Serbian Cultural Center from Sindelfingen near Stuttgart organized folklore meetings of nine societies from Europe, with the aim of promoting the traditions and culture of the Serbian people, said yesterday BiH Consul General in Stuttgart, Vera Sajić.
Sajić noted that fostering Serbian tradition and culture abroad had to remain a priority so that generations living far from their motherland would not forget the values of their people.
‘I am very grateful that, far from their homes, the Serbian people preserve their culture and traditions and organize meetings with artistic societies from Europe’, said Sajić, who attended the meetings.
She stated that the concert on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the Center included participation of cultural and artistic societies from Paris, Vuk Stefanović Karadžić from Schönenwerd Switzerland, Jelek from Wuppertal, Sloga from Stuttgart, Morava from Stuttgart, Serbian Cultural Center Offenbach, Sloga from Mannheim and Radost from Leverkusen.
The event was attended by the Head of the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Stuttgart, Mićo Ćetković.
