At the initiative of the Kosovo and Metohija Aid Committee, the Alliance of Serbs in Austria launched the Each Serb One Euro campaign to finance humanitarian projects, help vulnerable families, public and religious institutions and organizations preserving Serbian tradition and culture.
This project will include the engagement of numerous Serbian clubs and associations in Austria, which, by contributing one euro per month, will demonstrate humanity, but also sobornost for KiM.
The project was presented in Graz over the weekend, in cooperation with the Alliance of Serbs in Styria.
On this occasion, within the Caravan of Culture and Knowledge program, several educational workshops were held for our community, associations and clubs, and artists from the House of Culture Gračanica performed for the audience.
The Each Serb One Euro project was agreed to be long lasting, and its beginning will target the Podrži me – 9 January Day Center in Kosovska Mitrovica for children and youth with developmental difficulties, for Center operation, van purchase and fire protection installation.
The project is implemented by the Alliance of Serbs in Austria and the Republic of Srpska Representative Office, in coordination with the Kosovo and Metohija Aid Committee Banja Luka.
