The Homemade Products Festival held in the Pielachtal Valley, Lower Austria, included participation of a delegation from the Republic of Srpska and presentation of products from Banja Luka and Drvar for the visitors.
The Head of the Representative Office of the Republic of Srpska in Austria, Mladen Filipović, also visited the Festival and said that one of the objectives of the Representation was to open a Krajina and a Herzeg House in Vienna.
The Republic of Srpska Representation in Austria announced that there was a successful cooperation between Drvar and the Lower Austrian municipality of Pielachtal, going on for 12 years.
The Festival exhibited the products of the Drvar family Pećanac, who have been processing cornelian cherry for more than 22 years, and today they have a plantation of 263 trees and their own brand Po Propisu.
Long-term cooperation was established also with Banja Luka, and Krajina House has its own stand at the Festival which was visited by the Director of the Banja Luka Center for Agricultural and Rural Development, Draško Ilić.
The two-day open Festival is organized by the Pielachtal Valley, Lower Austria, in cooperation with the Mostviertel Tourism Organization.
They also expressed great gratitude to the deputy governor of Lower Austria, the mayor of Pielachtal, who supports such festivals, and Andreas Purt from the Mostviertel Tourism Organization.
