Drvoprodeks from Banja Luka, Kodiakhem from Trebinje and Elektro tim company from Banja Luka were among the 500 exhibitors at the 48th International Building Trade Fair held in Belgrade under the slogan From Vision to Reality, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska with the support of the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Serbia. Head of the Representation Mlađen Cicović says that every presentation of companies from Srpska outside its borders is very important because of the need for Srpska to enter into all business projects even more strongly. ‘Coming to this fair is very important for us. It is an opportunity for them to offer their products to other markets and to discuss everything that will contribute to this branch of our economy following all trends,’ said Cicović. After the opening of the fair, Assistant Minister for Civil Engineering of the Republic of Srpska Slobodan Šiljegović said that it was very important for the Republic of Srpska to have the support of Serbia, especially in the field of construction, and expressed his belief that the construction industry in Srpska would keep advancing and improving.

The new production facility of the company MAHLE Electric Drives Bosnia will open officially today in Aleksandrovac near Laktaši, and value of this German investment is around 20 million euros. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Višković, Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović and Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship Vojin Mitrović will attend the opening ceremony.

The company MAHLE Electric Drives Bosnia is a leading supplier of automotive industry systems, and the parts it produces are incorporated in every other car in the world. These are parts for passenger, freight and work vehicles. The new production facility in Aleksandrovac covers 30,000 square meters and is among the largest investment projects in the Republic of Srpska, as confirmed by the recognition of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska for the most significant investment and contribution in the field of employment in the past year.

The Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Srpska, Vojin Mitrović, invited businessmen to visit the second International Fair of Business, Agriculture, Tourism, Education and Employment Gradiška 2024 Trade Fair Days from 26 to 28 April, to exchange experiences and learn about new technologies, but also what the local community and the Government of Srpska offered to investors. The organizers of the Fair are the city of Gradiška and the company RS Consulting & Trade from Banja Luka.

Mitrović said that Gradiška was recognizable as a place where the local administration and republic institutions had done a lot to encourage domestic and foreign investments. ‘The ranking in ninth place, according to the Financial Times survey /on the most desirable micro-cities in Europe for investment/, says enough about the position of this local community and the way it is valued within European framework,’ stated Mitrović. He added that Gradiška, with its geographical location and good infrastructure, had great potential for further economic development and opening of business and free economic zones, which would continue to be supported by the Government of the Republic of Srpska.

Mayor Zoran Adžić said that the Trade Fair Days were especially important for domestic businessmen and farmers, who would be able to present their products and services and establish contacts and cooperation with potential business partners from the region. ‘This is a unique fair event that gathers business, agriculture, tourism, but also education and employment. It is important to show our secondary school students in time what is in demand on the labor market,’ said Adžić. Adžić also thanked the President of the Republic of Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and the Government of Srpska, the general sponsors of the Gradiška 2024 Trade Fair Days.
