The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Višković, spoke in Banja Luka with representatives of the German company Mayer GmbH, which plans to expand production in the Republic of Srpska, specifically in the area of the city of Prnjavor.

Prime Minister Višković expressed his satisfaction over the German company’s plans to invest further in Prnjavor, thus proving once more the Republic of Srpska to be a suitable place for investing. He added that ours were the most favorable conditions for investment, starting from tax benefits all the way to business electricity price, and he highlighted the high quality and expertise of the workforce.

Prime Minister Višković said that the Government would fully support this company to develop operations with us, which would enable job creation and overall business environment improvement.

He noted his pleasure over such a company recognizing the Republic of Srpska as a suitable place for developing production and expanding operations and welcomed them to the Republic of Srpska. Prime Minister Višković said that this was another proof of German companies deciding to do business with us and recognizing the positive business environment.

The owner of Mayer GmbH is Vladimir Mayer, originally from Croatia, who founded the company in Germany and currently employs around 350 workers. Mayer said that his Prnjavor company planned to build a production hall of about 5,000 square meters with an option to expand. He thanked Prime Minister Višković for the reception and support and said that he had positive experiences from the Republic of Srpska, and hoped to start implementing his plans as soon as possible.
