For members of the Serbian Humanitarian and Cultural Society Morava from Stuttgart, Germany, this year marks 25 years of existence, 25 years of good fellowship with three generations, 25 successful years, 25 years of humanitarian work, 25 years of nurturing the culture and tradition of their people, and 25 years of excellent cooperation with German institutions. Much has happened in the first quarter of a century of the existence of this society, but more has remained the same - love for their association and respect for others, gathering of generations, arrival of new members, nurturing the culture, tradition and art of their people, shared travel and folklore and choral performances, smiles at humanitarian aid delivery on both sides, love in all fields and memories of their dear former members.

The program - full of beautiful journeys through time - was presented by Doroteja Ljubičić and Srđan Koškanac. After short welcoming speeches and blessing of the event by Presbyter Milenko Bakmaz, this young duo’s wonderful dialogue took the audience through Morava’s first 25 years. Many of today’s Moravans were not yet born, many became Moravans by birth, many took their first steps in Morava, and those who walked at that time were brought by their grandmothers and sometimes grandfathers and their parents, so the beginning was not easy. But where there was a desire, all obstacles were overcome. Throughout this time, Moravans have built their respectable name and are known throughout Germany and Europe.
