The Minister of Trade and Tourism in the Government of the Republic of Srpska, Denis Šulić, visited the Representative Office of the Republic of Srpska in the Republic of Austria.

Šulić and Head of the Representation Mladen Filipović discussed the possibilities of promoting Republic of Srpska’s tourism potential, improving cooperation in the fields of trade and food industry and presenting the tourism offer of the Republic of Srpska on the Austrian market, and together they visited the International Tourism Fair held in Vienna.

The Tourism Organization of the Republic of Srpska is taking part in the largest tourism fair in Austria with an individual stand presenting different segments of the tourism offer, among other things spa tourism, mountain tourism, including Jahorina Olympic Center, active tourism (rafting, cycling, hiking), and many other products.

Representatives of the Center for Agricultural and Rural Development Banja Luka, led by the director Draško Ilić, also took part in the Fair, presenting the offer of the Krajina House and Herzeg House on this occasion.

The Minister of Trade and Tourism of the Republic of Srpska, Denis Šulić, and Head of the Representation Mladen Filipović visited the Viennese branch of the Spar supermarket chain which offers the products of companies from the Republic of Srpska.

Several successful companies from the Republic of Srpska have placed part of their product range and some of the most recognizable brands on the Austrian market.

Šulić and Filipović emphasized the importance of cooperating with one of the largest retail chains in Austria, and expressed their satisfaction with the fact that Vienna offered our citizens the opportunity to find products from Srpska companies, which, due to long-standing tradition and constant capacity development, could compete with products on the EU market.

A presentation of the tourism offer of the Republic of Srpska was held on the third day of the Fair and included address by Denis Šulić, Minister of Trade and Tourism in the Government of the Republic of Srpska.
