A meeting between the President of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, and the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Zdravko Krivokapić, who is on an official visit to Srpska, was held in Banja Luka today.
After the meeting, the President of Srpska said that discussions covered relations between the Republic of Srpska and Montenegro, and improvement of cooperation. - This was an opportunity to apprise the Montenegrin Prime Minister of the political situation, that the institutions are stable - said Cvijanović.
Krivokapić expressed satisfaction with the visit to the Republic of Srpska, emphasizing that today was a turning point because the previous government of Montenegro very often forgot certain regions bearing a not so well regarded prefix.
- We want to change that. Feelings and nationalities do not matter because the time has come for economy to dominate in this area - said the Montenegrin Prime Minister. He noted that it was the government he headed that was sending such a message - that it was looking toward a better future and prosperity, primarily for the citizens of Montenegro, and stronger and better cooperation with all neighbors.
Krivokapić said that times of crisis required absolute solidarity, emphasizing that the most important thing for Montenegro at this moment was to be ready for the tourist season. He invited the citizens of Srpska to visit the Montenegrin coast. After the meeting with the President of Srpska, the Prime Minister of Montenegro also talked with the Prime Minister of Srpska, Radovan Višković.
