The Mayor of Prijedor, Slobodan Javor, met in Vienna with the Head of the Representative Office of the Republic of Srpska in Vienna, Mladen Filipović.

The topics of the meeting were this Representation’s projects concerning the city of Prijedor.

Filipović said that networking, communication and information exchange were very important.

– Today’s meeting showed how close the Austrian Serbian community stands with the Republic of Srpska. There is interest not only from Austrian contacts and investors, but also from Serbs who live and work in Austria, to invest and engage in business in Srpska – said Filipović.

Javor pointed out that the conclusion of today’s meeting was to hold another similar meeting in the coming period when, according to him, the Head of the Srpska Representation in Vienna would come to Prijedor to talk with businessmen about cooperation.

– The key to cooperation is timely information and the opportunity to present their product in Austria – Javor said.

After this meeting, Javor and Filipović also met with businessmen, representatives of business organizations from Austria and representatives of Serbs from the diaspora.
