The Serbian cultural and spiritual space is indivisible and unique, and the centuries-old relations of the Serbian people from both sides of the Drina should be further developed and deepened, agreed today the delegations of the cities of Niš and Trebinje at a meeting in the City Hall in Niš.

After the meeting held as part of the Days of the Republic of Srpska in Serbia, the Mayor of Niš, Dragana Sotirovski, said that the first steps had been taken on cooperation with Trebinje, which will continue to develop.

– We have heard their experiences that also we in Niš could apply. Trebinje is an energy center, it stimulates its agricultural producers in an original way and develops agriculture. It records 100,000 overnight stays and visitors from 94 countries – said the Mayor of Niš.

The Assistant Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska, Tanja Đaković, noted that even better cooperation and mutual support would strengthen the unity, published the website of the city of Niš.

The Mayor of Trebinje, Mirko Ćurić, emphasized that this was a way to connect the two same peoples even more, and thanked the Mayor of Niš for deciding to make Trebinje the city to bring even closer to Niš in the future.
