At the Theatre Akzent in Vienna, the ensemble of the National Theatre of the Republic of Srpska successfully performed the play Kuća, directed by Nikola Pejaković.

The performance was attended by a large number of Serbian community members in Austrian capital. The visit to Vienna is part of the event Days of Krajina in Austria, organized by the Representative Office of the Republic of Srpska in Austria.

On this occasion, the ensemble and members of the National Theatre of the Republic of Srpska visited the premises of the Republic of Srpska Representation in Austria, where they were received by the head of the Office, Mladen Filipović. Filipović expressed his satisfaction that the ensemble of the National Theatre of the Republic of Srpska had been visiting Vienna for seven years, thus maintaining continuity of cooperation and promoting contemporary artists from the Republic of Srpska. – The audience was delighted with the play Kuća. We in the diaspora fully understand the essence and messages offered by the authors, and the ensemble conveyed this brilliantly last evening. The cooperation of the Serbian community in Austria in the field of economy is at a high level, and such guest performances by our theaters are an opportunity to make strides in the cultural field, because the Republic of Srpska, as we saw last night, has a lot to offer, to our great satisfaction – said Filipović.

The Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska also supported the national theater in realizing the guest performance. The text Kuća was authored by Serbian actor Nebojša Ilić, and adapted and directed by Nikola Pejaković. The play stars: Anđela Rakočević, Vladimir Đorđević, Željko Stjepanović, Velimir Blanić.
